    What is an offshore container?

An offshore container is a specially designed container for use in harsher marine environments than those found on land. Offshore containers must adhere to stricter safety standards (DNV 2.7-1) to ensure safety, as they are often exposed to more severe conditions and require lifting between fixed and/or floating offshore platforms and vessels.

Exposure to harsh environments: Marine environments are harsher than land-based environments, being affected by corrosive sea spray and low temperatures. Therefore, offshore containers need to be properly tested, have a lower minimum design temperature, and use anti-corrosion coatings to resist corrosion. While ISO containers and DNV containers both require lifting during loading and unloading, offshore containers need to be more robust because they need to be lifted from moving vessels to fixed or floating platforms while withstanding wave impacts.

    Offshore Multi-purpose Container

Offshore multi-purpose containers are special containers designed for offshore engineering scenarios, featuring modularity and high integration. They are manufactured using high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel and can withstand harsh marine environments. The internal space is flexible and adjustable, supporting quick conversion into equipment storage compartments, temporary workrooms, emergency supplies storage units, etc. Equipped with professional sealing, ventilation, and anti-vibration systems, they ensure the safe transportation and storage of flammable, explosive, and precision instruments, and are widely used in offshore platforms, ship replenishment, and underwater engineering, effectively improving the convenience and safety of offshore operations.
